KOLKATA: On Saturday, the 13th August, 2016 at the Prize distribution ceremony, the members of Swamiji Sporting Club, the Guardians and the Prize winners of 2nd Swamiji Sporting Club Table Tennis Championships 2016, a WBTTA State ranking TT Meet witnessed a prolonged TT rally between noted Singer Smt. Swagataluxmi Dasgupta & Ranji Cricketer & the Minister of State, Dept. of Sports. Govt. of West Bengal Shri Luxmiratan Shukla.
Both of them are very much fond of playing Table Tennis when they have leasure time to enjoy. Shri Shukla added that he has also planned to build up a Indoor Stadium, which serves for Table Tennis, Badminton & Basketball in addition to the Cricket Stadium at Howrah from Sports Dept.
From Mumbai Former Senior National TT Champion Shri Subramanian Ramaswami came to West Bengal to witness the Finals as Special Guest along with WBTTA Gen. Secretary Shri Debi Prosad Basu.

Nursery Boys: Oishik Ghosh bt Emon Adhikary by 3-1
Cadet Girls: Sucheta Prosad bt Prithoki Chakraborti by 3-1
Cadet Boys: Rudra Narayan Ghosh bt Arup Saha by 3-2
Sub Jr. Girls: Munmun Kundu bt Koushiki Dasgupta by 4-1
Sub Jr. Boys: Abir Roy bt Tamal Ballav by 4-1
Junior Girls: Moumita Dutta bt Premangi Ghosh by 4-3
Junior Boys: Jeet Chandra bt Soham Bhattacharya by 4-2
Youth Girls: Moumita Dutta bt Poulomi Das by 4-2
Youth Boys: Jeet Chandra bt Ronit Bhanja by 4-2
Womens: Sutirthaa Mukherjee bt Moumita Dutta by 4-2
Mens: Ronit Bhanja bt Anirban Nandi by 4-3.
Final Results of Veterans Events which included in WBTTA routine as per TTFI Norms also held here at Swamiji Sporting Club, Howrah.
 
40+ Mens & Womens:
Internationally famed TT Couple Sri Kishalay Basak & Smt. Meenu D Basak became winner (A TT Record) beating former Bengal Star Shri Arindam karar & Smt. Shrabani Paul respectively by 3-2 & 3-0.
50+ Mens:
Shri Sudipta Gangopadhyay bt Shri Subhaseswar Gupta by 3-1.
60+ Mens:
Shri Seshadri Bhattacharya bt Shri Tapan das Chowdhury by 3-1.
