BEIRUT, Lebanon (FIBA Asia Cup 2017) – The finalized competition schedule for the Group Phase and the Final Phase of the FIBA Asia Cup 2017 has been announced.

Asia’s premier basketball event will tip off in the Lebanese capital at 13:30 local time on August 8 with Kazakhstan taking on debutants New Zealand in Group C action in Nouhad Nawfal Arena. The day will also see Group D action take place, before teams in Groups A and B take center stage the following day.

India is pooled along with Iran, Jordan and Syria in Pool A. India will play first match on Day 2 of the tournament against Iran.

The Group Phase concludes on August 13, with the top team from each group advancing to the Quarter-Finals. Teams that finish 2nd and 3rd in each Group will face off in the “Qualification to the Quarter-Finals” playoff games. The competition concludes with the Final taking place at 21:00 local time on Sunday August 20.
