London: Saurav Ghosal who opened his campaign in the second round showed good touch to oust Tom Richards of England 11-3, 11-5, 11-5 to move into the quarterfinal of the Channel VAS Championship, a PSA world tour gold event being held at the St George’s Hill LTC in Surrey.

The seventh-seeded Indian is once again pitted to face the top seed Mohamed ElShorbagy of Egypt next. The two had only a few days ago met in the World Championship where ElShorbagy won but after getting a feel of the Indian ace’s fighting qualities.
