Chennai Club 300 top the table in Round 2 and moved to Knockout Round in the 2nd KSTBA Open Trios Tenpin Bowling Tournament currently underway at Amoeba, Church Street, Bangalore.
Led by International medallist Shabbir Dhankot of TamilNadu, team bowled consistently in Round 2, scoring 561, 592, 553 and 529 and finished at the top with total pinfall of 6781 and team average of 188.36.
At the end of Round 2, Chennai Turkeys finished in second position with total pinfall of 6727 and team average of 186.86. Gujarat Rollers (6725 at an average of 186.81) and Bowling Bohemians Bengaluru (6712 at an average of 186.44) finished in 3rd and 4th position respectively.
Highlight of the day is the performance from International Medallist Dhruv Sarda (DEL) who scored total pinfall of 920 at an average of 230.00 in 4 games in Round 2. This performance helped his team Delhi Tornados move up to 5th position at the end of Round 2.
Earlier today, top 18 teams based on total pinfall from 24 games in Round 1 moved to Round 2. Each team played a block of 4 games in Round 2. Top 8 teams based on total pinfall from Round 1 and 2 moved to Knockout Round.
Knockout Rounds and Finals are currently in progress.
