The 26-year-old, born in Argentina, has officially joined Mohammedan Sporting Club for the ongoing I-League 2023 season, marking his return to Indian football.

Nellar, who made his senior debut with Spanish side Lorca FC during the 2019-20 season in the Tercera División RFEF of Spain, brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Mohammedan Sporting Club.

During his debut season, he made a notable eight appearances for Lorca FC, showcasing his talent in the midfield.

He made his mark in Indian football when he signed with Gokulam Kerala in August 2022. Nellar quickly became a crucial part of the team, adding steel to the center of the pitch for the Malabarians. His impressive performances led to nine appearances in the I-League, setting the stage for a remarkable journey in Indian football.

In January, Nellar made a switch to Round Glass Punjab FC, donning the jersey number 5. His time with the club was nothing short of spectacular, contributing one goal and one assist in the I-League. Nellar’s presence in the middle of the park provided crucial solidity to Round Glass Punjab FC, culminating in their triumph as the champions of the 2022–23 I-League.
