Innsbruck (RWH) Three races – three victories: bobsleigh pilot Lisa Buckwitz (GER) completes the BMW IBSF World Cup in Innsbruck (AUT) with a triple. After two victories in the monobob, the World Championships silver medallist also won the 2-woman bobsleigh race with push athlete Vanessa Mark.
World Champions Kim Kalicki/Leonie Fiebig (GER, 0.09 seconds back) finished second in the Innsbruck Olympic ice track. Olympic Champion Laura Nolte (GER, 0.44 seconds back) completed the World Cup podium in third place with Neele Schuten.
Breeana Walker from Australia narrowly missed out on her first World Cup podium finish in the 2-woman bobsleigh in Innsbruck in fourth place. With push athelte Kiara Reddingius, Walker was eight hundredths of a second off third place after the two race runs.
In the BMW IBSF World Cup 2023/2024, Laura Nolte (GER, 425 points), the winner of the World Cup opener in La Plagne, defended her lead in the overall standings. Team-mate Kim Kalicki (GER, 420) follows close behind in second place ahead of Lisa Buckwitz (GER,401).
