In a celebration of baseball excellence, the fifth annual All-MLB Team, presented by MGM Rewards, was unveiled on Saturday night, spotlighting the standout performers of the 2023 season. This prestigious selection, unique in its consideration of the entire season’s performance across the Major Leagues, combines the perspectives of fans and a panel of experts, each contributing 50% to the final vote.

The All-MLB Team distinction is divided into a First and Second Team, encompassing the crème de la crème of baseball talent. Each team features the best players at every key position – catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, third base, and designated hitter, alongside three outfielders, five starting pitchers, and two relievers. Notably, the selection criteria focus solely on regular-season performances.

The Texas Rangers made a significant impression this year, with six players selected across both teams, including two earning coveted spots on the First Team. The Atlanta Braves led the National League with five selections, boasting three players on the First Team – the most from any MLB team.

  • First Base: Matt Olson, Braves
  • Second Base: Ozzie Albies, Braves
  • Shortstop: Francisco Lindor, Mets
