New York, December 19, 2023 – As the NFL gears up for Week 16, teams are grappling with injuries that could impact their performances in the upcoming games. Here’s a detailed look at the injury reports from notable matchups.

New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams – Thursday Night

New Orleans Saints:
The Saints, who did not practice on Monday or Tuesday, have several key players out. Defensive end Isaiah Foskey and cornerback Lonnie Johnson are sidelined with quadricep and knee injuries, respectively. The team’s offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk is also out due to a knee injury. Notably, running back Kendre Miller and wide receiver Chris Olave, who were absent on Monday, were limited in Tuesday’s estimated practice due to ankle injuries.

Los Angeles Rams:
Similar to the Saints, the Rams also did not hold practice sessions on Monday and Tuesday. Offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom and cornerback Tre’Vius Tomlinson did not participate in practice due to foot and hamstring injuries. However, wide receiver Tutu Atwell, who had been dealing with a concussion, is now fully participating in practice.

Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Chargers – Saturday Night

Buffalo Bills:
The Bills, without a Tuesday practice, estimated their injury report. Linebacker Von Miller is out for personal reasons, while defensive tackle Jordan Phillips is sidelined with a wrist injury. On a positive note, quarterback Josh Allen is fully participating despite a right shoulder issue.

Los Angeles Chargers:
For the Chargers, wide receiver Keenan Allen and cornerback Deane Leonard did not participate in Tuesday’s practice, both dealing with heel injuries. The team, however, saw full participation from guard Zion Johnson, who is recovering from an ankle injury.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers – Saturday

Cincinnati Bengals:
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase did not participate in Tuesday’s practice due to a shoulder injury. On the other hand, linebacker Joe Bachie and quarterback Jake Browning are fully participating in practice, signaling potential availability for Saturday’s game.

Pittsburgh Steelers:
The Steelers are facing significant absences, with safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and running back Najee Harris out on Tuesday due to knee injuries. Quarterback Kenny Pickett, dealing with an ankle injury, had limited participation in practice.

As Week 16 approaches, these injury reports suggest that team strategies and line-ups could be significantly impacted. Coaches and players will have to adapt to these challenges to ensure competitive performances in these crucial games.
