Sweden Secures First U20 Win Over Canada Since 2015 with a 2-0 Shutout in World Juniors

In a thrilling and fast-paced match, Sweden clinched a 2-0 victory over Canada at the World Junior Championship, marking their first win against the Canadian team at the U20 level since December 31, 2015. This win solidifies Sweden’s top position in Group A with a flawless record of three wins and no losses, while Canada now stands at 2-1.

The game, impeccably officiated by Swede Tobias Bjork and Canadian Mark Pearce, was a testament to fair play and high standards, allowing the players to showcase their skills without unnecessary interruptions.
