Winterberg, Germany – The stage is set for the 3rd EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cup, slated to take place from January 5 to 7, 2024, at the VELTIN Ice Arena in Winterberg. The event promises an enthralling showcase of skill and speed, with 125 sleds from 22 nations competing across various categories.

The World Cup in Winterberg marks a significant point in the luge season, with participants competing in men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and team relays. Notably, Julia Taubitz and Max Langenhan from Germany, along with Austrian doubles teams Selina Egle/Lara Kipp and Thomas Steu/Wolfgang Kindl, currently lead the World Cup rankings.

Max Langenhan’s performance has been particularly outstanding, securing his ninth consecutive World Cup victory this season. His German teammate Julia Taubitz also impresses with two victories and a second-place finish. In the women’s doubles, Egle/Kipp lead the rankings after two victories at Lake Placid.
