In the closing moments of regulation, Banchero’s clutch 3-pointer gave Orlando a brief lead, but Monk’s layup tied the game at 118, setting up the overtime drama.

Sabonis, known for his triple-doubles, achieved the feat early in the third quarter, marking his fifth in the last nine games. Keegan Murray also shined for Sacramento with 28 points.

The Kings bounced back from a previous home loss to the Charlotte Hornets, extending their winning streak over the Magic to five games.

Orlando, dealing with multiple injuries, saw Franz Wagner, Gary Harris, and Banchero suffer setbacks during the game, adding to their challenges.

Looking ahead, the Magic continue their West Coast trip against the Denver Nuggets, while the Kings host the Toronto Raptors, both games scheduled for Friday. Sacramento’s resilience in this high-scoring, closely contested match underscores their potential, while Orlando will aim to overcome their injury woes and recent setbacks.
