The amazing AI powered camera on the Pixel 8 pro will enable our social media team to capture world-class content for the Australian Open and give fans a new, up-close perspective of the sport played at its best,” says Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer, Cedric Cornelis.

Google Pixel will also welcome Rinky Hijikata as a new ambassador at AO 2024. One of the sport’s most exciting rising stars, last year at just 22 years old, Hijikata won the Australian Open men’s doubles title. He also progressed to the Round of 16 in singles of the US Open, becoming the first Australian wildcard to achieve this. Using his Pixel 8 Pro, Rinky will give fans an unmatched look behind the scenes to see what life is like at the AO for the world’s best tennis players.
