Dublin-based wealth management firm GillenMarkets has been named as the title sponsor of the upcoming London Squash Classic, which will make its debut at the spectacular Alexandra Palace between March 27 – April 1.
The GillenMarkets London Squash Classic replaces the Canary Wharf Classic on the PSA World Tour calendar, and GillenMarkets will be the headline sponsor for London’s new premier squash tournament having sponsored the Canary Wharf Classic in 2022 and 2023.
“Having worked closely with GillenMarkets over the past two years, we are thrilled to have secured them as the title sponsor for the inaugural staging of the London Squash Classic,” said Tournament Director Tim Garner.
“GillenMarkets were valuable supporters of the Canary Wharf Classic and, with the London Squash Classic ushering in a new era of squash in the capital, we are excited to have them join us on this new journey.”
GillenMarkets Founder Rory Gillen said: “It was a privilege to be involved with the Canary Wharf Classic as it signed off after 20 wonderful years, and we are delighted to be back on board for the exciting transformation into the London Squash Classic at another of London’s iconic venues in the form of Alexandra Palace.”
