Ingram’s season-high 41 points were accompanied by a career-high eight 3-pointers, a feat highlighted by an electric third quarter where he sank six from beyond the arc.
Ingram’s efficiency was off the charts, connecting on 16 of his 21 shots and dishing out nine assists in just 30 minutes of play. His third-quarter barrage of five consecutive 3s led to a well-deserved standing ovation as he took his rest for the night, leaving the court with a broad smile.
Pelicans coach Willie Green praised Ingram’s performance, emphasizing the team’s encouragement for him to take more open shots, particularly from the 3-point line.
