Melbourne: India’s Harinder Pal Sandhu continues to make waves. The in-form Indian inched his way into the semi-final of the Victoria Open, a PSA World Tour event here on Friday with another superb display of all round abilities.
In the last eight the fourth seed Harinder defeated Australian Rhys Dowling, seventh seed, in straight games 11-4, 11-8, 11-5. Incidentally he had defeated the same Australian with a similar felicity only a week back in the South Australian Open final.
In the last four tomorrow, Harinder will play the second seed Piedro Schweertman of Netherlands.
