Tauranga (New Zealand): India began well in Pool C with a 3-0 win over South Africa but later in the day went down to higher ranked England 0-3 for mixed fortune on the opening day of the girls’ team event competition in the WSF-World junior squash championship here on Tuesday.
This is a four-team Pool with France being the fourth team. India at the end of two matches is placed two in the Pool with a match against lower ranked France to go. Two teams from this Pool qualify for the knock-out phase.
