Kuala Lumpur: India’s Harinder Pal Sandhu, who is the top seed has moved into the semi-final of the Malaysia Squash Tour, a PSA event which got underway here on Wednesday.
Harinder won both his matches in the day. He beat wild card entrant Ong Sai Hung of Malaysia in the first round 11-2, 11-3, 11-4 and later in the day in the quarter final defeated his country-mate Ramit Tandon, seeded seven, in three close games 12-10, 12-10, 11-8.
In the women’s section, the lone Indian Sachika Ingale, seeded three, went down in the first round to a Malaysian Wen Li Lai. The Malaysian won 11-9, 11-6, 11-3
