Ravi Dixit wins Secunderabad Club Telengana Open

Secunderabad: Experienced and top seed Ravi Dixit of Haryana made the best of the occasion by beating second seed Jamal Sakib of UP with ease to annex the men’s title in the Secunderabad Club Telengana Open, a two-national circuit squash tournament here on Saturday.

In the junior section the fights for supremacy were lot closer in some categories though most of the top seeded players courted glory. Still mention has to be made of Devay Mehta, seeded ¾ who toppled top seed Rohan Arya Gondi for the title in the U-13 boys section. Similarly in the girls section, Maharashtra’s Sarah Vethekar, seeded 2 got the better of the top seed Rajasthan’s Uditi Mishra in the U-15 final.
