Their performances were a poignant reminder of their valuable contributions to the Suns before being traded last season in the deal that brought Kevin Durant to Phoenix.
Bridges scored 21 points, while Johnson added 15, showcasing their skills in a game that was as much about emotion as it was about basketball. Johnson expressed his appreciation for the warm reception he received from the Phoenix crowd, highlighting the enduring support from the Suns’ fans.
Cam Thomas spearheaded Brooklyn’s scoring with 24 points, playing a key role in the Nets’ seventh win in their last nine games. However, the Nets regained control in the fourth, never relinquishing the lead once they recaptured it.
