Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild demonstrated why he is one of the league’s top forwards, amassing an impressive 4-3—7 and a +5 rating across four games. His standout performances included consecutive overtime goals, crucial in pushing the Wild (15-13-4, 34 points) towards a strong 3-1-0 week. This surge in form has seen the team achieve a League-best 10-3-0 record since the appointment of John Hynes as head coach on Nov. 28. Kaprizov’s heroics included decisive plays against the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens, cementing his status as a clutch performer. The 26-year-old, who bagged the Calder Memorial Trophy in 2020-21, leads Minnesota with 31 points in 32 games this season, underlining his importance to the team.
