Kolkata, 14 February, 2024: Young children from CRY’s ‘Kabaddi for Change’ programme and Parivaar spent time with Shubham Shinde and his teammate Nitin Rawal after being invited by Bengal Warriors for the Kolkata leg of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10. The program hopes to reach out to 8 districts, and touch the lives of 3000 children kabaddi players through CRY’s initiatives.

The Kabaddi for Change initiative aims to help in the empowerment of children in certain districts of West Bengal through the sport of Kabaddi. These children, who are all from underprivileged communities, were experiencing the excitement and thrill of watching a game in the stadium live, for the first time in their lives.

Here are some glimpses of their meeting as the two Kabaddi stars brought a wide smile to the faces of these young kids, many of whom are aspiring Kabaddi stars.
