Innsbruck (RWH) Bobsleigh pilot Lisa Buckwitz (GER) has celebrated her second monobob victory of the 2023/2024 BMW IBSF World Cup season in Innsbruck (AUT). In the Olympic ice track in Igls, the World Championship bronze medallist relegated World Cup season opener winner Kaysha Love from the USA (0.11 seconds back) and Australia’s Breeana Walker (0.13 seconds back) to second and third place.
Great Britain’s Adele Nicoll made it into the top ten in the World Cup for the first time in Innsbruck. In Innsbruck, Adele Nicoll now sat on the bobsleigh steering ropes herself for the first time as a World Cup pilot.
In the BMW IBSF World Cup 2023/2024, inaugural winner Kaysha Love (USA, 627 points) regained her lead in the overall standings with second place in Innsbruck. Lisa Buckwitz (GER, 618) is second overall ahead of Breeana Walker (AUS, 594).
